    Health Care Credit-Wages And Hours

It would appear from all the reading we have done that the wages and hours worked by all employees with the few exceptions(owners & family, etc.) are to be used in the computations even if some of those employees are not enrolled in the insurance plan.

Am i on the right track!

This credit is very difficult to work on - I would not try too it unless client is willing to pay a LOT.

      Health Care Credit

I just input 58 employees (worked out to be 38 full time equivalents) and my software required the input by employee.....And after all of that (how do you ever charge enough for this form?) No credit is calculated so for me a lot of work for nothing for the client ?

      Regards, Duane Anderson

        Not looking forward to it

However, I believe I have "one" taxpayer that might qualify for only a portion. Thank goodness only 7 employees but will probably only equate to about 3 full time, so credit will be minimal.

You are right, how to charge for this form and the complication of calculations.

Thanks for all the info. I was going to start on one but now I'll just move on to others busy issues.
