I have an 81 year old client who works a part-time job and qualifies for the MWP. She has no withholding and no income tax liability. She also qualified last year, but the MWP would have been reduced in 2009 by the $250 SS benefit paid. As far as I can determine, no $250 benefit was paid to SS recipients in 2010. So she could qualify this year, correct? I cannot get any info from the IRS ERP site, since she hasn't filed a tax return in years.
