Parents have a daughter (age 29) that made under the $3650 for 09 and lives at home. She should have been deducted off the parents return as a dependent. When amending and adding her to the parents return, does anything have to be done with the daughter's return, like correcting and eliminating the exemption off the daughter's return?

Look at the daughter's tax return.
She probably took the Making Work Pay credit and some EIC that she's not entitled to take. -
Absolutely. Daughter's return has to be redone as if she did not claim herself, with all the accompanying adjustments. Might have to repay any refunds.Comment
