    I thought the hold on Schedule A returns was

    released. What happened? I am still getting a message that I can file the return but it's too early for processing. Did I hear this incorrectly or am I just being hopeful? Thanks.

    The IRS announced they would start receiving the returns on February 14th. So until then, some software companies are not letting you send the returns at all while others might be letting you transmit them but holding them until that date.

      Personally I would hold off transmitting the return until it can go directly the the IRS. I'm not too keen on letting a client's return hang in limbo on the software provider's server.

        It's good to know that I am off. I prefer to wait to even do the return until then.

        I can always count on the people here to give great responses.
