Will Be a Tax
All that has to happen is for some federal judge to recharacterize the insurance requirement as a "tax". The government can't force us to buy broccoli but they CAN force us to pay taxes.
However, if the Supreme Court somehow does find Obamacare unconstitutional, THIS new Congress will not pass it again.

I've heard this argument before....I thought that the tax that's imposed federally currently in place, like Medicare and SS is an "Income" tax.....and that it would have to be somehow taxed that way to make it uniform.
The Supreme Court can decide to not hear the case as well, right? What's the chances of that happening?Last edited by kpangelinan; 02-01-2011, 01:11 PM.

Is everyone tracking client returns that may have to be amended if the law is held unconstitutional?"A man that holds a cat by the tail learns something he can learn no other way." - Mark Twain
