    Need Texas Preparer

I have a client that moved from San Francisco to Kerrville Texas. I know that Texas has no income tax. Are any other Texas form filing required when preparing the Federal 1040 for a Texas client. Thanks for your help.

I am in Texas. Actually I am in Kerrville Texas. If you PM me, I can give you contact info, or I will be happy to call you.

      Texas taxes

In Texas, you only have to file your Federal tax return. There is a corporate franchise tax somewhat like an income tax, but it does not apply to individuals.

If he moved from another state he may have a part-year return to file for that state.
