    Depreciation

Taxpayer terminated his lease for business operations, and is now working from home.
It is garage door sales and service. He purchased a Shed, poured a concrete slab, to use for storage and also Building Doors and some repair work. It is not attached to the residence.

    What depreciation term to use?

    Thanks,
    Sandy

It's a building; 39 long, hard, years. The county/city will probably assess it as such, viz. an improvement.

      I think I'd agree here....nonresidential real property.

I concur with the others.....39 years is a long time to recover from these costs.
