    Deceased Spouse

    I believe I am correct on this but would appreciate some help. I am filing a 2009return as MFJ. The spouse died 12/24/09. I know I am good here , but I believe that since they have no children as dependents that on the 2010 return I will need to file as Single Status. Any comments
