IRS Direct Deposit

When I filed my own federal return Monday 11 October (filed the states a couple of days later), the IRS Refund Cycle Chart said our direct deposit would be Friday 22 October. Checked today and IRS says Tuesday 2 November. Don't have FTHB or EIC or anything unusual.

Has anyone else been seeing delays for October filings? Will I have my last minute clients calling me re their refunds?!

That happened all the time even from the beginning of filing season. The chart gives a Friday date, but many times it you looked at "Where's my refund?" it would give you a Tuesday date. I told my clients not to get worried if it was a few days later.

I never did get a reason why this was happening.

18 Days!

But, this is 12 days (couldn't remember my filing date there for a minute! sorry) later than their chart, not just the Tuesday after. Is everyone who filed that last week also late receiving refunds? Or, have I been singled out for some reason?

My DD refund is also coming Nov 2.

Got mine on time

I sent ours on the 11th and it was deposited last Friday, the 22nd. Actually I had forgotten about it. Time sure flies when you are having fun.
