    Pay money to renew your PTIN?

    I read the Tax News newletter from the California FTB. It says that after Sept. 1, all existing PTIN's, throughout the United States, will have to be renewed (online apparently) with a fee paid. Ouch.

    Does anyone have an idea how much that fee might be?

      Between $75 and $300, for 3 years.
