    New Hire Act

    Summer time student employees. Do they quailfy - they have never been a full time and they are not replacing anyone??? How about summer time nannies home fro school or high school students??? HELP

      It's my understainding that as long as they didn't put in over 40 hours in the 60 days prior they qualify.

          On a webinar I participated in, the speakers had said that Nannies do not qualify, they couldnt give any code regulation at the time on this, but there is another webinar on the HIRE ACT from the IRS this Thursday. Maybe they will go over this then.
