2010 Solar 30% Credit - AMT Offset Allowed?

I know the 30% credit was extended to 2010 for regular tax purposes.
I know that non-refundable tax credits were allowed against AMT tax through 2016 previously.
    Therefore,
I think the extended credit is still allowed to be offset against AMT tax.
However, I cannot find anything that says that for sure.
    Anyone looked into this already?

Anyone care to respond? Would really appreciate it.

I was hoping to get another practitioner's opinion on this. Any chance you might be able to help?

    Thanks

      Don't know...

... all I can offer is that, in the proposed budget, which is where the AMT patch is addressed, AMT limits are to be 'the same as 2009 and indexed to inflation for future years'. Not a lot to hang your hat on, is it? I did search on another forum - and no one has an answer yet. Good luck.
