    Ironically, although I live about 20 miles from the area where the people were killed, we did not have any large amounts of rain. It did rain, but just a small amount. I understand the river level was at 3 feet and it went up to 23.5 feet in the flood. Here in the mountains, rivers go up very fast, and they go down fast. From what I understand, the area got about 8" of rain in a short period of time.

    Listening to the scanner today, I heard they were bringing in a refrigerated truck for a morgue. They had a helicopter out searching for others that were stranded, etc. at Albert Pike and at Bard Springs campgrounds.

    Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".
