Received the HUD statement today to file for FTHB for daughter. Purchased home in 2010 and 2009 return (daughters') will be amended. Apparently the bank required father to co-sign. Both names appear as "name of borrow." Do I need to explain on the amended return for 2009 why the father's name is listed? Will IRS question this? Don't want the amended return to be delayed if I can help it.
