1099's

I just changed to Medlin for doing my payroll. But I also do a few 1099's, andd discovered that they do not do 1099's. What does everyone else use for processing a few 1099's? I have some 1098s, 1099s misc & int.

Not sure if you are a Drake user, but their CWU program will create the necessary file format for efiling of 1099s and 1096 via the FIRE program. It's nice.

QB for those I do bookkeeping in QB. When I have a stray few 1099s to do, I Google to see who has a free filing site that matches my needs. Last season I used FileYourTaxes.com for a personal client who needed three 1099s/1096 filed for a company in which he was treasurer. I've bought the package at Staples in past years. And, I do order some of the red forms to have on hand.
