    Converting Traditional to Roth

My client has an inherited IRA which she takes RMD's from and a traditional IRA with only non deductible contributions and earnings. I assume, If she converts the Traditional to Roth the inherited IRA will not come into play and she will only pay tax on the earnings.
    Is this correct?

    Since you can't convert

an inherited IRA (other than from a spouse) it would make sense. Don't have a definite answer.
