    TTB 12-2 Chart...Education cost

    The chart says, "phase out" for Amer Opp Credit is between $160K - $180K AGI - MFJ. My client is $163K and yet NO credit. ProSeries does allow the software to pick which one is best for TP and it picked "deduction" but that phasedout at $160K.

    The phaseout mentioned on page 12-2 is correct. Re-check to make sure you checked all of the correct check boxes.
