I have Gear-Up manuals going all the way back to the early 1990s. I don't see a Rob Jennings listed in any of them.

I believe you're referring to Bob Jennings. He was formerly with Gear Up until Thomson/PPC bought out Gear Up. For whatever reason, Bob didn't sign on with PPC and he started his own company.

Bob Jennings is one of the best speakers I've heard. He knows what he's talking about and he does a real good job of presentation. He was a driving force behind Gear Up for a long time. I'd guess he wanted to keep a sense of independence instead of joining the cattlewalk of a big corporation.

I usually rate seminars by the period of time I am able to stay awake during the presentation. I don't ever recall falling asleep when it was Bob's turn. Gear Up lost one of their best when he left.

The seminar I had him for was the Accounting & Auditing update. Perhaps Bees Knees could not find him because you were looking for him as a 1040 seminar leader. I too found him excellent.
