Client refinance and since there is no seller, this appears on HUD which my client paid when they refinance. Tax deductible on schedule A and if so where?

Then I would say not deductible. Sounds like an underwriting fee for mortgage lender who then sells mtge to a third party. If they cannot tell you exactly then no deduct.
