I just posted about the client w/ the 1099-Q who received the CP2000. The CP2000 also noted additional tax on a qualified plan and other tax flavored accounts; $477. The client had a HSA gross normal distribution of $4,765 in 2008. I completed the 1099-SA screen just like the 1099-SA the client received. I also stated that the client used all of the funds for medical expenses. TaxAct software did not compute a 10% tax on this distribution. I ran the audits, etc. without any problems. The client has an AGI of $219k. Am I missing something? TIA.
