    Extension

Efiled an extension for taxpayer with incorrect info - I inadvertently put in that $3000 had been paid during 2009 and that is incorrect. Is there any way to correct once e-filed?

I'd paper file a correct one, and use Certified Mail with Return Receipt.
Have the return receipt sent to you, not the client (they will lose it - guaranteed).
Amazing what that little green card can do when the paperwork blizzard begins.

Have your client send in $3000, that should correct the problem.
