seminars are open to the public. client holds seminars in an attempt to get people to become his clients (financial advisor).

Promotional Items

Promotional items are those little things with your name on them that cost you a few bucks and you give away to clients &/or when you speak, like pens with your company and telephone number. Gifts are limited to $25. Not sure about raffle prizes. Form 1099-MISC to winners? Also, check your secretary of state's office re permit to hold a raffle and appropriate paperwork to the state.
