    did you say baby bells..

    as in divestiture stocks? Now that is a whole 'nother animal...

    That 1984 split up of AT&T creates a massive worksheet to figure basis for the baby bells. Wonder if that had something to do with it?

        Yes, I think the computer just crashed when it got to that ..... in addition, TP was in DRIPS for most of those stocks, so reinvested divs, etc. Nightmare.

                Extension

                I agree extension time, I have my "Wash Sale" client on Extension from 2008 to 2009, as his broker can't seem to provide the information. Guess another large billing, but not what it is worth .
