    Cafeteria Plan

    What are the rules for filing form 5500 for a Cafeteria plan. I've got a client who signed up with one of my least favorite comapnies namely AFLAC.

      The rules are, you make your client pay the company they signed up with file the 5500 for them. They are the ones pushing the cafeteria plan. They are the ones who know how to deal with them. Never mind the cost. If your client wants one, your client should have to pay the cost of having the 5500 handled correctly.
