efile and out of country address

Can a w-2 with canadian address be efiled. I get a efile warning on my software that I need a state and zipcode. I efiled the return last year with the same address, but won't let me this year. Anyone know how to fix?

My software has a box for foreign address. I've e-filed returns with non US addresses &/or non US addresses on W-2s &/or other documents. Try help from within the state field or search inside your software for foreign address or give them a call. Or, tell us what you use so someone who knows that software can jump in.

My software has the foreign address dropdown, too, but I can't find the abreviation in the list, and I'm not sure where it really is from, taxpayer thought canada. Worked last year, but didn't have the foreign address dropdown.

As far as what goes into the efile image you have a "." in the state field and leave the zipcode blank. How you make it do that in your software may differ depending on the software.
