    Health Coverage Tax Credit

Is anyone familiar with the Health Coverage Tax Credit (HCTC)? I have a client who enrolled in the program last year. That reduced his premiums. He should be very happy with it already. But he told me he heard someone said the 'extra' premiums that he has paid before he enrolled can be refunded in the tax return. I have read as much about the HCTC as I could but I didn't find anything about it. So what exactly are the benefits that a taxpayer can claim in the tax return if they enrolled in the HCTC program?

If they paid the full amount for any month and then they were approved for HCTC and they did not get the HCTC subsidy for that month you can get the subsidy when they file their taxes.
