    Amt

Hello, I have a return that has about $3900 AMT if i use a standard deduction. If I force
itemized deductions the AMT is only $245. Standard deduction is $13500 and the
itemize deductions total $13334. The forced itemize deduction creates a much lower tax.
Is it okay to do this?

    Thanks, DixieEA
