Energy Credit

Client installed residential solar system for generating electricity in his primary residence and took a credit for year of installation. In 2009, he had to replace related batteries at approximately $1000. Do the replacement batteries qualify for energy credit consideration?

I'd say no...

I don't see anywhere in the Energy Credit where maintaining your system is deductible.

It would be nice, though.... somebody, prove me wrong!
