    Cali tax pros

I have a question about the state tax law. I'm looking to move out of my area, and this is a factor. I'm either going to Melbourne, FL, Cali, or Nevada.

I have major back problems, including sciatica, and weed works better than any pill I was prescribed.

If you have a medical marijauna card, can you take a deduction, if you itemize your deductions?

Tax pros in other states where medical weed is legal, feel free to reply.

    Thanks.

Not on the federal return. The states may allow it.
In other words, a democratic government is the only one in which those who vote for a tax can escape the obligation to pay it.

Yea, I know not on federal, but I would be tempted. I might think about doing it on my personal return, if I ever itemize.

CA allows the deduction on the state return. Heck, pot may be legal here soon for non medicinal use!
