    Hoosier Husband Buckeye Wife

New Indiana client - got married in July 09 to Ohio lady. Although newly married, the wife decided to continue Ohio residency and worked in Ohio until 2010 when she then moved to Indiana to live with husband. Husband has W2 from Indiana employer and wife has W2 from Ohio employer for 2009. Not sure which state forms to use for this 2009 tax return. Looks like maybe the Indiana PNR forms to report the husband's portion of the income. Not sure about the wife's Ohio portion. Any thoughts, advice or suggestions?

    I'd say

MFJ, return for each state. He's a resident of Indiana, she is not. She's a resident of Ohio, he is not. Your program probably has provisions to back out or credit the portion of income belonging to the non-resident spouse.
