    DC Renter's Credit

    I have researched all over the DC tax website but can't find the answer to this question. I have a DC part-year resident (10 1/2 months) and am trying to determine if they qualify for the renters' credit on Sche H. I find no reference in any material about part-years, but the software is asking if they were a resident from 1/1 to 12/31. When this is answered no, the credit disappears. Cannot seem to find the DC40 publication to review. Does anyone know the answer?

    Credit is only available for full year residents.One of the many problems with DC.
