      Form 5695?

Just received another inquiry and refund delay from 3/19 to 4/06. Every single delay I've checked has the form 5695.

Here's perhaps part of the answer to delayed refunds. Remember above when I was posting
snippets of returns filed to date thru March12th?

Well, total receipts (returns received) by IRS is down 2.9% compared to last year, but
returns processed is down 4.9% from last year. This indicates that they're not processing
them as fast as last year.

Last year the lag was 3.2 million returns, and this year's lag is 4.6 million returns.

Large refunds with refundable credits have been delayed as well.

Large tips are sliding right through.............
