Oregon legislature is "sweeping" funds from boards and agencies.

Our licensing board had accumulated $719,000 in their account. Now what on earth did such a small agency need such a large sum for? The state took $430,000 and left the board with seven months worth of operating revenue. Good grief

Do you think they could have lowered our fees maybe?

Makes you wonder if the feds are really concerned with protection the consumer.

Wonderful, my license fees are now supporting welfare programs for the legislature. I sent a message to the board members that this is not acceptable. If they don't need the money to operate the board, they can reduce the fees for our licenses.
