    Capital Gains Tax Rate

    Does any one know if Congress has extended the cap. gains tax rate for 2006 & 2007?

      Current rates are still in effect for 2006 & 2007. In 2008, the 5% rate drops to 0%. After 2008, rates are to go back to the old 10% and 20% rates.
