Can you e file form 1310 if the taxpayer died in 2005. Single mother died in December 2005. Small estate, son is handling. She has refund. Can we ef return ? Can we use the pin.

I have e-filed a couple of returns this year where the taxpayer or spouse died and didn't have a problem although I did'nt have to use a 1310. you might try it, The worse thing that can happen is that it will get rejected.ken -
Have e-filed with 1310 and it has been accepted. I remember last year there was a problem and it is the way the questions about wills, rep payee are answered that get's it accepted.Comment
