Have a 1099 tax statement showing foreign tax paid but does not specify to which foreign country paid. Is there a good search engine to determine? The description is "FT GLBL", but when I do a google search, it does not give me info needed. Any help would be appreciated!!

A form 1116 is only required if the foreign tax exceeds $300 for a single taxpayer or
$600 for a joint return. Only when a form 1116 is required would you need the name
of the foreign country.Comment
