    Form W-2 missing employer address

One of the W-2s of a client is without the address of the employer. It does have everything else like the Employer's name, EIN, state ID number, etc. My tax program refuses to efile it since there is no employer's address. My client can give me the address of the employer (obviously). Would the efile go through if we add the employer's address to the program?

      Missing Addresses

One thing I've noticed with not so much W-2s as with 1099-Rs -
payers continually change addresses - and that's the first item I check before entering the data onto the software program.
