    Exceptions to Housing Credits?

    I have a client that was transferred for their job they lived in their home for 4yrs 10 months prior to moving. They still own this home and converted it to a rental and are now buying a new home. Does anyone know if there is any exceptions to the 5 yr rule due to moving? I have looked and can not find any info.
