My farmer clients ALWAYS give me hay and feed separately, even though they get reported on the same line. And, they ALWAYS lump seed and fertilizer together, even though they do NOT get reported on the same line. Yes, ALWAYS. For 15 years.

Just thought it was funny
I was raised on a farm myself. Currently have 17 cows and 3 donkeys. Have a tractor with dead battery and a flat tire, too.
I just always get amused that every farmer I have gives me the info like that.Last edited by RitaB; 02-23-2010, 01:53 PM.If you loan someone $20 and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

I've got a tractor like that!
after this past few weeks I have not felt like fixing it yet.
But it makes sense. You always plant seed and fertilizer together (well, usually anyways) and you buy feed from the mill and hay from the neighbor or local sale barn.
Just some thoughts from an old red neck farmer!!AJ, EA

That &*^% tractor
Broke a bolt off trying to clean the battery cables Sunday after church. Then the flat tire. Always exciting, to say the least! We have had a lot of snow and cold temperatures, too, so we've fed a lot of hay. I can't tell you how happy I will be to see grass growing! If you loan someone $20 and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
