Had a prospective client call me and wanted to make an appointment. She has been going to one of the larger tax chains and they quoted a price of $225.00. It appears that this would be a short form from what I could get from her. She lives with one of my clients so I know she doesn't have interest/taxes to pay.

I know some people will intentionally quote high when someone asks for the price over the phone. After all, most have no way to know what really is on that tax return. -
I had a client say that her aunt had her return done at one of big chains that is a block
EZ form, W-2 and SS Benefits.... $175.00
New client this year his 2008 return was $445, 1040, Schedule A, Schedule D, State, W-2.Comment
