Dang -- What a madhouse today!

People got all their papers and they're comin' in the windows -- I'm holdin' 'em off with a whip and a chair. Anybody else got traffic?

      yes

"Can I come over in an hour?"

"I'll stop by on my way home from work"

One guy called me Sunday and I answered the phone. He said he wanted an appointment. Gave him one for Wednesday at 6:30. Then he says "Do you have anything this afternoon?" You have got to be kidding!!!! I just told him no I didn't. My husband said I should have told him it was Sunday and my day of rest.

      Others have been pleasant.

The first 2 are my nephew and my brother. So what can you expect!!!

Same here all got their W2s and 1099s now. Don't have time to pay attention! A little time to always read this board. Clients can wait.

            Me too!

Good grief! People just came in with their toddler. They're signing Form 8879, all is well, then it happens.

She asks,"Can I count my other son for EIC?"

            Me: What other son?

Client: Well, he lives with me. His dad claims him as a dependent, blah, blah, blah.

OMG! She told me 47 times that dad gets the dependency. Do you want EIC on the child or not, lady?!

So, I re-do the durn thing while the toddler is really going bonkers...

And, EVERYBODY else has a burning desire to yak, yak, yak today.
If you loan someone $20 and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

this one would match the title of the post:

So far everything is clam here... which is worrying a little bit.

Love it! Need that soundbite on endless loop. I want to play that in the background and rerecord my greeting for my outgoing phone message.
