    Georgia Non-resident LLC Withholding

I just got a GA LLC/P with a large rental building in Atlanta. All of the partners live in SC.

SC has an affidavit that can be filed by a non-resident partner which basically states that they will file and report all profits to SC. So there would be no W/H on a non-resident.

I certainly would like to not have to submit withholding on these non-residents. I cannot seem to find a similar release form for GA- am I missing one or do I just have to buck it up and pay Sonny Perdue his due.

It appears Georgia is not that generous.

See the section titled:Income from Partnerships and S Corporations.

See the section titled:Income from Partnerships and S Corporations.
See bottom right column on page 8 which gives the alternative; form IT-CR.
I didn't think "they" would have changed something so basic.

You can file the form IT CR and pay the taxes for the members using the GA formula.
