    amend FTHB from 7500 to 8000?

    My new client took the 7500 FTHB credit just days before it was changed to the 8000 credit that does not have to be repaid.

    Any problem with my amending the 2008 return to change that to the 8000 "free money" credit?

    See this notice. If purchased after April 8, 2008, and before Jan. 1, 2009.it was a loan and the form used to report it on doesn't matter.
