Possible the new MeF system. I heard it was super fast turn around time and when all systems are a go you will be able to efile 1040X's and previous closed years.

Maybe not, I was just expressing a hunch, I know Proseries isn't receiving Acks that quick.

As I recall, 2009 and forward will be eligible for amended returns, not 2008 and before, using ELF.

I have had a few come back that soon. My 941 and 940 were ack'd within a couple of hours. That really surprised me. I must have sent them immediately before the drain time.
