    TTB Web CD

Wonderful. The Web CD has links in the index to the pages!

      Got mine

I got mine and I'm about as far from MN as you can get.
Hopefully all the rest of you have your CD by now. The links help speed up things--better than flipping pages.

That will be a big improvement. I will have to look at that Monday.

How did you know it was shipped, did you get a tracking number?

                Web CD password

The password to install the web CD and the password to access updates on the web are not the same. I had a problem with both until I finally discovered that they were not the same.

The password to install the WebCD and the password to download WebCD updates are the same. It is the password to access the updates from TheTaxBook website that is different. WebCD users do not need to access updates from TheTaxBook website because all updates are downloaded to the WebCD when you run the WebCD update program.

Got mine today. I reviewed the videos via the link provided by a previous poster...thank you. I did have trouble with the search function. I did not have the "case sensitive" box check marked, yet my search was still case sensitive. Other issues exist as well. Nevertheless, I am thrilled about receiving my CD.

Can you identify the updates in the web CD? I had assumed that it updated it somewhere within the material rather than showing it specifically as an update. If it is buried somewhere in the middle of some topic by just revising that topic, then I would not realize the topic had been changed unless I happened to re-read it.

It is in the material. But it is also linked from the update log. From the home page, click on update content. The second selection on that page is update log. Click on the log, and you will see a link to each update article, and a link to each page that has been updated, along with a date telling you when it was updated.

I just tested mine. The search was not case sensitive. It must be something wrong or some setting in your version of Adobe Reader doing it.

Bees, I have watched all the videos and it was a big help. I'd like to get advise on a basic search question. F.e. if I want to find "Single Member", how would I need to enter this? It appears I cannot use two words but I am sure it is just the operator. Thanks.

From the Home Page, click on "Search." Then go to the Adobe menu bar at the very top of the screen and click on "Edit," then choose "Search." This takes you to the advanced search menu.

Check the "Whole words only" box, then type in single member in the search bar at the top.
