    2009 - Ssa-1099

Does anyone know when those are usually mailed out?

Also, what exactly is a SS "Awards Letter" and how can it be obtained?

    Someone said the received one

But I do not yet receive SS so I do not know. Normally this is a little early to receive them. If you really need to know call a client that you know well and ask if they received theirs yet.

          Got mine today.
Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

Decision Notice (Award Letter or Denial Letter)

When you file for Social Security, we decide if you will receive benefits. We send you an official letter explaining our decision and, if benefits are payable, we tell you the amount you will get each month.
