    Modified AGI

Does a SEP contribution count as an IRA contribution when calculating Modified Adjusted Gross Income for purposes of the IRA deduction phaseout?

You may know that the SEP is added to the IRA's when computing for the RMD....so it may have to be counted.

I feel stupid answering my own question; but on the top right column of page 13-13 of TheTaxBook, it only lists Traditional IRAs as an addition to MAGI for ROTH IRA purposes.
