    E Filing Question

I am in the process of setting up an E Services Account, just waiting for the IRS letter. Once that is done will that be the easiest way for me to find out what I can currently e-file and perhaps even apply to e-file the rest of what can be e-filed? The only thing I am sure I can e-file is 1040s because that is all I have actually e-filed.

Background - I know that I applied for an efin once without choosing to ask for permission to file all possible forms but I don't remember what if anything besides individuals I chose to e-file. I have vague recollection of later applying to e-file other things but again I am not sure if I elected to e-file everything. I filled out and printed PDF Forms and mailed them in but I saw no reason to print copies for my records (big mistake). I am sure that if the form allowed me to save my data I did that but I didn't think to back it up when I backed up client data prior to a hard drive wipe last fall (second big mistake). So I made my bed and I am lying in it without feeling sorry for myself.

    e-File

You can update an e-file application filed on e-Services, but not sure if you can get to your application if it wasn't filed via e-services. You can check when you log on. Or, probably faster in this case where you're waiting for your letter, is to call the e-Help Desk at 866-255-0654. They've been very helpful in the past.
