    Can a personal representative of a deceased estate take the standard mileage business rate deduction for automobile miles traveled involving the adminstration the estate?

    Such a deduction would property fall on the form 1041 and reflect the actual amount
    reimbursed by the estate to the administrator/executor during the tax year involved.

    But as far as a schedule a deduction? There would first have to be executor's fee
    on line 21 to allow for any deductions on schedule a.
