    I agree with the above posts. Its crazy sometimes what all people tell me. Some refer to me as the psychiatrist as I am a "good listner".

    Erch I like what you said about telling them upfront. I think that is great position to have and I will start letting all my clients know.

      Asking about this is key

      It is one of the first things an auditor looks at if the file crosses the desk, and one of the ratios that the computer systems are programmed to look at when flagging for audit. Beware the dreaded indirect (or lifestyle) audit. If they spent more in deductibles than had income, and can't give you a coherant explaination as to how, they're up a creek if they get asked by an auditor.

      We tend to undervalue our "gut feelings".

      Anyone ever notice they beat the daylights out of the definition of a child, but they don't spend much time at all defining "parent"?
